The Scenographer’s Detached House
The artistic inspiration was from a conversation with
my professor, who is also a famous scenographer in Italy.
In his opinion, the varieties of light and shadow are the
essential components in scenography, and he dreams of
living in a creative house with sunlight and shade as his
inspirational Muse.
The house is located at the block near the national gallery and has a fantastic scenery of Rome’s panorama. The diamond facade and the windows of varying sizes would create hundreds of spatial shadows with the sunrise or the sunset.
